Carver Yacht is making plans to unveil its latest new vessel on February 14, 2014 during this year’s Miami International Boat Show. This new model, named the Carver C37 Coupé, is the third all new yacht the company has introduced in the past 12 months. The company’s aggressive new product development schedule is unmatched by any other company in this segment of the market.
The new C37 Coupé’s swim platform, cockpit, salon, galley and helm station are integrated into a unified, single level floor plan. There are no steps between the cockpit and the interior of the yacht and the hinged salon doors swing open to provide wide access to the salon from the cockpit. This is a highly desirable feature and one that is unique to Carver. The accommodations level of the new C37 includes two very private staterooms and a roomy head compartment equipped with a spacious fiberglass stall shower with hinged Lexan door. Owners and their guests will appreciate having homelike shower accommodations on board rather than using public showers at the marina.
People will love the new C37 both for how it looks and how it performs. The planning hull has a 13’ beam and a running surface designed to deliver a stable, smooth, dry ride. When equipped with twin Mercruiser 377 Magnum B3 stern drives the Carver C37 is expected to deliver top end speed approaching 40 mph. Twin diesel engines are also available. Additional high value features include a power actuated sun roof in the salon ceiling, extra-wide walk around side decks, L-shaped cockpit seating and an island berth in the master stateroom. A power retractable cockpit sunshade is available as an owner specified addition.
‘Over the past 60 years Carver has earned the reputation for building high quality, dependable boats and yachts that deliver more homelike features than any other brand’ – stated Robert VanGrunsven, Carver’s President and a 38 year veteran of the company. ‘The Carvers we are building today continue this tradition of excellence. And, through our use of superior engineering and modern construction technology, we are able to offer our new models to the market for very attractive prices. Our new Carvers represent the very best value in the industry “- said VanGrunsven.
The first C37 is scheduled for sea trials off the coast of Southern Florida in late January. From there, the yacht will be on display within the Carver Yachts indoor exhibit (display location C71) at the Miami Beach Convention Center during the 2014 Miami International Boat Show February 13 – 17.
